Club Tijuana Women’s To Compete in Copa MX
The Club Tijuana women’s side is set to compete in the inaugural Copa MX tournament held next week in Toluca. The competition marks the first time the LIGA MX will hold an official female team competition for its clubs.
Soccer News: Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles women’s team will compete in the Copa MX tournament May 3-6 at the new Mexican soccer federation headquarters.
Club Tijuana was drawn into Group 3 with Cruz Azul, Santos Laguna and Necaxa during the official drawing held on Wednesday. Each club will face its group rival, with the top two teams in the overall table facing each other in the final at the new home base of Mexican soccer in Toluca.
The tiebreakers are the following: goal difference, goals scored, head to head results, Fair Play table and the final is a coin toss.
