Liverpool FC Reveals Third Kit in Hong Kong
Liverpool FC is preparing for the 2017/18 campaign as the Premier League club revealed its third kit during preseason tour. The Red also announced Falken Tires as a Global Partner and Official Tire partner with the goal of creating innovative initiatives including exclusive content to bring the Clubs’ fans closer to the action.
Soccer News: Liverpool FC First Team players James Milner, Adam Lallana, Simon Mignolet and Philippe Coutinho revealed the 2017/18 New Balance third kit in Hong Kong – the first stop of the Reds’ 2017/18 preseason tour.
The third kit – set to be debuted at the Club’s Premier League Asia Trophy match against Crystal Palace on the July 19th – continues the theme of celebrating iconic periods from Liverpool FC’s 125-year history. Taking its design inspiration from the original wooden signage of the famous Kop stand, the kit features a ‘Bold Citrus’ and black colorway.
Launched as part of the ‘Pure Liverpool FC’ campaign for the 2017/18 season, the kit and accompanying training kit celebrate the clubs 125th anniversary — a unique feature of all the New Balance kits for the 2017/18 season.
To commemorate the tragic events of Hillsborough, the 96 emblem, encased by the eternal flames sits at the nape of the neck. The jersey also features a debossed ‘125’ to the shoulder seam tape and is framed by a black collar and trim, and is completed by Bold Citrus shorts and Bold Citrus socks with a black trim.
“This year’s campaign is all about celebrating what makes Liverpool FC the iconic club it is today and the Kop is certainly a key icon in the club’s 125-year history,” said General Manager of New Balance Football, Richard Wright. “The New Balance design team has done an excellent job in creating a strip that the fans and players can wear with pride.”
In addition, Liverpool FC has also announced Falken Tires as a Global Partner and Official Tire partner of the Club. The partnership was launched on Monday in Hong Kong, as part of the Reds preseason visit.
Falken will also benefit from a range of marketing and promotional rights including digital and social media support, pitch side LED, stadium branding and access to Liverpool FC players and Legends.
