Chelsea FC Announce New Partnership with Nike as Uniform Outfitter
Chelsea FC has officially partnered with Nike as its official kit supplier, marking the end of the English club’s tenure with adidas in previous years. Chelsea will embrace a new Nike kit beginning the the 2017/18 campaign with its Academy and Ladies teams also receiving specially crafted uniforms.

The business of soccer is obviously booming and there is a lot of money to be made. The desire to increase the average spend per fan is on every club and manufacturers’ mind and significant partnerships in this market help build the business. What is adidas’ loss becomes Nike’s win.
The long-term agreement will see Nike, the world’s leading sports footwear and apparel company, become the official kit supplier beginning the 2017/18 campaign.
Nike will produce kits for the first team, Academy and Ladies teams, as well as a full range of clothing for Chelsea’s millions of supporters around the globe.
The partnership marks the end of adidas outfitting Chelsea as the American brand reaches into the London market.
