ATL Champions League Welcome Virgin Atlantic Airways as Official Partner
Soccer in the Streets has partners with Virgin Atlantic Airways to become an official sponsor of the ATL Champions League. The tournament provides all proceeds to youth outreach and grassroots programming of Soccer in the Streets as the largest edition of the event kicks off during the month of May.
Soccer News: Virgin Atlantic Airways has partnered with Soccer in the Streets ahead of the sixth and largest ATL Champions League tournament that kicks off in May.
Soccer in the Streets is a sports youth development program that is based in Atlanta, Georgia. The organization has more than 25 years of experience in developing programs aimed to empower undeserved youth in the community.
The British-based airline becomes a sponsor two months ahead of the tournament that will consist of the 12 teams and over 180 players making it the largest tournament to date. The ATL Champions League will be held at Grady Stadium in Atlanta with all proceeds from the tournament going to youth outreach and grassroots programming of Soccer in the Streets.
ATL Champions League has progressed from its original tournament that was named ATL Premiership Playoffs that included only teams from the Barclays Premier League. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are among the English clubs that will be represented in the tournament along with Italian giants AC Milan and previous UEFA Champions League winners FC Barcelona.
The ATL Champions League is set for Sunday, May 22nd with ticketing available for just $5 here.
