Soccer is America’s hottest sports entertainment right now. Everywhere you look — feature films, TV sitcoms and even pharmaceutical ads feature great scenes of soccer — the new family-favorite activity. And, why not? Soccer is the world’s beautiful game and played around the globe. While America might be late to the party, in our typical fashion, when we arrive, everyone knows.
Soccer is turning into big business in our country and America’s love affair with the sport deepens as rivalries flair. San Diego and Phoenix are both cities in the running for an MLS franchise and both have devoted fans.
When Albion PROS take on Phoenix Rising FC, the action will be great. It is not only a competition between two rival cities, but also between two competing leagues — both fighting for superiority.
