Soccer News: Region III Begins June 11 In Louisiana
The 2015 US Youth Soccer Region III Presidents Cup kicks off June 11 in Lafayette, LA. Teams from US Youth Soccer Region III (South) will compete from June 11-14 to advance to the 2015 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup.
The tournament will feature 120 US Youth Soccer boys and girls teams in the Under-13 through Under-17 age groups, competing for a regional title and a chance to advance to the 2015 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, July 9-12 in Overland Park, Kansas.
Preliminary games will take place Thursday, June 11 through Saturday, June 13. Semifinal matches will take place Saturday, June 13 through Sunday, June 14. Regional champions will be crowned following final matches on Sunday, June 14. Games will take place at Moore Park Soccer Complex.
Louisiana Youth Soccer Association will host the event, and the other 11 State Associations represented include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Texas and Tennessee.
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup offers teams the challenge of experiencing different types of play by competing from state to regional to national levels. The Presidents Cup provides teams with a progressive, competitive experience that highlights competition, camaraderie and community.
