US Youth Soccer Champions crowned at 2019 Far West Presidents Cup

It is that time of year when players fight for victories on the field and earn the right to be called champions. Players look forward to these games all year and it is prestigious to be even secure a berth in a competitive bracke, let alone emerge and make it to the Semifinals.
US Youth Soccer, home of soccer for millions of young Americans, has just set the finals matches at 2019 US Youth Soccer Southern Presidents Cup as the preliminary games for the 2019 US Youth Soccer Midwest Presidents Cup finish. Youth soccer players and coaches, along with their families are outdoors, enjoying the beautiful game in many states in the USA.
While the names of all these events can be confusingly similar, the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is not the same as the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, which is a separate series of youth soccer events.
In fact, congratulations to all the teams that competed in US Youth Soccer’s Presidents Cup all across America.
Here is the recap on what is happening in the Far West region of US Youth Soccer:
The 2019 Far West Presidents Cup came to an exciting conclusion on Sunday in Norco, Calif., as 14 teams claimed titles.
Not only did those sides step off the Silverlakes Sports Complex fields as Far West Presidents Cup Champions, but the 13U-18U Boys and Girls title winners also secured berths to the 2019 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, which will be played July 10-14 in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Nevada and Cal South led the way with 6 Far West Presidents Cup titles each, while Idaho and Colorado each had one. Heat FC (NV) led the way with 3 titles, and Nevada as a state went a perfect 6 for 6 in title games.

Youth Soccer Highlights from US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup Finals:
U12 National Championships Series Girls Finals:
The all CA-S final ended in a 2-1 win for SD Surf Academy Select G07 (CA-S). SD Surf’s Melanie Barcenas scored a brace to bring her total to 13 goals in 5 games.
Her tally was the highest in the 12U girls age group and exactly half of her team’s 26 goals for. Legends FC G07 Pre-Academy (CA-S) tried to respond with a Tori McBride goal but it wasn’t enough to stop SD Surf from claiming the title.
U12 National Championships Series Boys Finals:
In a back and forth match Heat FC 07 ED (NV) outlasted AC Brea PDA (CA-S) winning on kicks from the mark when the Heat FC goalkeeper buried his penalty just after the AC Brea goalie missed his. Before penalties
Heat FC came out firing scoring 2 goals in the first 10 minutes before AC Brea answered with 3 of its own. Heat FC scored in the last minute of regulation to send the game to overtime and then promptly scored in the first half of overtime. AC Brea responded with a goal of its own in the second overtime thus sending the match to penalties, where the lengthy shootout needed keepers to decide it.

US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup 13U Boys Final
The highly anticipated rematch from a group play game, say a different result as Las Vegas Pros Futbol LV Pros 06 (NV) smashed 6 goals past Boca Jrs LA B2006 Blue (CA-S).
In a game completely different than its 2-1 loss in group play, Las Vegas Pros Futbol was out for blood scoring early and often against a Boca Jrs team that played hard but was feeling the effects of yesterday’s extra-time victory. Angel Morales scored a brace within the first 10 minutes to set the tone for Las Vegas Pros Futbol and giving him 10 for the tournament.
US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup 14U Girls Final
The all CA-S final didn’t disappoint as AVSC Storm Academy (CA-S) put on a scintillating display beating the previously undefeated Simi Valley Eclipse (CA-S) 3-0.
The result is particularly impressive considering the Simi Valley
US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup 14U Boys Final
Downtown LA SC B05 (CA-S), who accepted a late entry into the tournament, proved it belongs by winning the title after a dominating 6-3 win over RSL-AZ Yuma 05 Boys Cetina (AZ). Downtown LA SC was rarely troubled on its way to the title losing one match and needing overtime in one other
US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup 15U Girls Final
Beach FC (CA-S) wrapped up an unbeaten tournament with a 5-2 victory over Pride SC Copa 04 Girls (CO).
Pride SC played well scoring twice which equalled the amount Beach FC had allowed in its previous 5 games combined. Sydney Trump and Tessa Simmons each scored a brace for Beach FC in the victory. Tessa Simmons’ goals were enough to separate her from the pack and become leading goal scorer in the group with 6.
US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup 15U Boys Final
Playing its second CA-S team in two days was not too much of a challenge for Heat FC 04 AS (NV) who beat both to finish the tournament with a perfect record.
Milan Academy Gold (CA-S) actually scored first but it wasn’t able to hold on against one of the top teams in the age group. Kevin Menjivar scored for Heat FC bringing his total to 6 in the tournament and tying him for the group

LVSA 02 National League (NV) rebounded from a slow group play to win 3 straight knockout games and become 2019 Far West Presidents Cup Champions.

Players SC Elite Boys 02 (NV) ‘s scorching form in front of goal continued in the final registering 5 goals for the 3rd straight game after only scoring 5 total in 3 group play games.

US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup 18U Girls Final
CC Aztecs/Coast (CA-S) finished the tournament unbeaten after defeating Broomfield Blast SC Magista (CO) 1-0 in the final. CC Aztecs/Coast looked to be in control all tournament with only 1 draw blemishing their record. In the final, Haley Obenshain scored the clinching goal.
US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup 18U Boys Final
After a 4-3 win in yesterday’s Semi-Final, California Rush B01 Cinza (CA-S) scored 4 more goals in today’s final to become champions.
