Second Annual SouthWest SC Thanksgiving Tournament
Rachid El Bekraoui has hosted many youth soccer tournaments and has helped develop youth soccer players who have been able to attract professional tryouts and earn contracts. As a youth soccer coach and tournament director, El Bekraoui knows how important it is to be able to scout talent in a competitive environment. An outspoken person, El Bekraoui believes the biggest problem in American youth soccer is the lack of promotion and relegation with no incentives to focus on player development over winning. Now, kicking off the 2015 SouthWest SC Thanksgiving Tournament, El Bekraoui is committed to providing college coaches with quality scouting and recruiting opportunities.
The SouthWest SC Thanksgiving Tournament is open to all youth soccer leagues and is sanctioned by Cal South. Over 90 youth soccer teams participated last year and El Bekraoui expects an increase for 2015.
