SoccerToday: Do you play club soccer?
Asher Booth: Yes, I play for San Diego Surf boys u18
SoccerToday: What do you like best about high school soccer?
Asher Booth: What I like best about high school soccer is playing with the kids I’ve grown up with since I was 8 or 9 years old and the exciting crowd that comes to support us at our games.
SoccerToday: Who is your favorite professional soccer player?
Asher Booth: My favorite soccer player is Cristiano Ronaldo because he is the most dangerous attacking player in the world and it motivates me to do the same. I have also met him personally and got to spend some time with him when I was younger when I traveled to England for soccer and he was an amazing role model to me and I really respect him.
SoccerToday: What is your favorite motivational quote/saying?
Asher Booth: My favorite quote is a bible verse “Colossians 3:23” and it says “whatever you do, work at it with all of your heart, as working for the Lord and not for men”
SoccerToday: Do you like to listen to music before games?
Asher Booth: Yes I do
SoccerToday: What’s on your playlist these days?
Asher Booth: I really enjoy techno music because it helps me get excited and it helps me to get focused and ready to go.
SoccerToday: Favorite post-game treat?
Asher Booth: I like to eat cuties or some sort of orange
SoccerToday: Do you have any superstitions on game day?
Asher Booth: If I don’t pray before the game, I won’t play as well.
SoccerToday: What’s your favorite movie? or book?
Asher Booth: My favorite movie is American Sniper
SoccerToday: What’s your favorite subject in school?
Asher Booth: I enjoy English
SoccerToday: On your rare soccer-free days, how do you like to relax?
Asher Booth: I like to sleep and take it easy at home
SoccerToday: What’s one word your teammates would use to describe you?
Asher Booth: blessed
