L.A. Wolves II Will Compete In 2015 UPSL Summer Season
The L.A. Wolves FC announced the launch of the L.A. Wolves II as their newest Pro Development team which is an extension of its current Pro Development soccer programs. The L.A. Wolves II will compete in the 2015 Summer UPSL season in the Western Conference.
The L.A. Wolves II, which is an extension of its flagship team, have been launched as the continued overwhelming player pool of the L.A Wolves first team required an expansion of its Pro Development soccer programs. The L.A. Wolves will now operate the L.A. Wolves FC (UPSL), LA. Wolves II (UPSL), and L.A. Wolves Reserves (CSL).
Coaching the L.A. Wolves II will be Coach Steve Merriweather and the L.A. Wolves Reserves will be coached by Coach Julian Wright. Coach Julian has coached club for LAFC, CZ Elite, Beach FC, and DMS11. Coached HS for Lennox Academy (2013 CIF Division 7 Champions & Coach of the Year) and Malibu (2014 Tri Valley League Champions & Coach of the Year). He holds a USSF National C License.
Coach Merriweather, has been a coach of the Wolves since 2015. Merriweather started his coaching career many years back and has now coached on the youth and adult side for a combined 10 plus years in Palos Verdes and Torrance. The L.A. Wolves II currently train and play all their home matches at The Toyota Sports Complex in Torrance, CA.
