Former Pro Player Otto Orf II Brings Real Life Experience to Readers
Otto Orf has dedicated his life to the game of futsal — the former U.S. Men’s National Futsal Team member continues to provide youth players with the opportunity to develop their skills and reach for their dreams. Orf currently is the Regional Director for U.S. Youth Futsal and contributes to the game through his academy and non-profit soccer organization. Known for giving back, Orf has arranged for numerous significant charitable donations and has just returned from donating over $100,000 of medical supplies to more than 15 free clinics in Northern Ohio.
Born November 4, 1963, Orf is a retired American goalkeeper who passionately played professionally for 21 years. Orf played both soccer as well as indoor soccer and futsal and was a member of the U.S.National Futsal Team, representing the red, white and blue at the 1996 FIFA Futsal World Championship.

Orf also played in the United Soccer League (USL) and Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) and National Professional Soccer League.
A highly respected former professional player, Orf has inspired thousands of youth players and trained youth goalkeepers to be the best last line of defense.
Orf is the Regional Director for U.S. Youth Futsal and the founder of Hands On Soccer and Great Lakes Futsal – US Youth Futsal. In addition, Orf is the futsal director for US Youth Soccer’s Ohio North.
In 1989, Orf played for the San Diego Nomads and replaced San Diego Sockers’ Zoltan Toth while he was out for surgery. Orf won several indoor soccer championships with the Cleveland Crunch in the 1990’s and then made international appearances with the U.S. National Futsal Team in Guatemala, Spain, and Costa Rica, respectively from 1996-2003. In 1996, the U.S. National Futsal Team won the first CONCACAF Championship for the USA and competed in the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Spain.
