2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup Recap and Preview
The second week of the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup prepares to kick off following an intense set of matches taking place on Saturday in Bucaramanga and Cali. Costa Rica take on Argentina at 5:00 p.m. ET, while Italy face Vietnam with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. ET.

Day 8 Recap
Ukraine kicked off Day 8 with a 3-1 victory over Australia in the first Group D matchup of the day. Australia were led by three individual goal scorers to book their ticket to the Round of 16.

Brazil cruised past Mozambique in a crushing 15-3 victory the second Group D matchup. Brazil cruise to the knockout stages with three wins and a convincing goal differential of +24.

Paraguay topped Guatemala in a 8-4 victory at Coliseo el Pueblo in Cali. Paraguay tallied their second win of the tournament to advance to the Round of 16, while Guatemala head home with three losses in the tournament.

The final match of the day saw Italy defeat Vietnam in a 2-0 win in the second Group C match of the day. Italy recorded three wins in the tournament to claim the top spot of the group.

Day 9 Preview
Costa Rica face Argentina in the first Group E match of the day with kickoff set for 5:00 p.m. ET in Buacaramanga.
The second Group E match will see Kazakhstan take on Solomon Islands at 5:00 p.m. ET at Coliseo Ivan de Bedout in Medellín.
Azerbaijan take on Iran in the first Group F match with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. ET in Cali.
The final match of the day will feature Spain and Morocco of Group F with kickoff at 7:00 p.m. ET.
