Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association to Offer “C” Coaching Course in Orangeburg
New York Youth Soccer News: Soccer coaches will be delighted to get a “C” when the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) hosts the “C” coaching course at World Class FC at 175 Old Orangeburg Road in Orangeburg.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have held a National “D” License for a minimum of 12 months. The license must be submitted to Eastern New York’s Joanne Roth (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 24 hours of registration.
This newly revamped “C” course and first-class curriculum is designed for coaches working with players ages 14 and up. The course combines vital theory sessions on periodization, teaching strategies and principles of play with field sessions. The cost is $1,050 and the course runs from July 31 to August 8 at World Class FC.
“This is a great course that is a vital stepping stone for those that wish to move onto the B and A courses,” commented Tim Bradbury, Director of Coaching Instruction for Eastern New York. “The C is the foundation of all high level licenses and is full of vital teaching strategies and game concepts. It’s likely to become the minimum license required to coach in any high level leagues within Region 1.“
