ASU FC Vice President Ryan Martin on his team’s inclusion into the UPSL stated, “We couldn’t be more excited to be joining such a rapidly growing league. We just came off a very successful season and are looking forward to hosting this year’s regional tournament, where we will have the opportunity to play against some quality opposition. There are a lot of exciting things happening for us this year, culminated by our inclusion into the UPSL. We are growing as a club and hope to become a Division 1 NCAA program in the future. For now, we are excited to have the opportunity to play against some of the top pro-am talent in the country.”
“We couldn’t be more excited to have a team like ASU FC join our ranks,” said Yan Skwara, United Premier Soccer League Commissioner. “We continue to grow and attract talent from all over the country, and couldn’t be more excited to have collegiate level players with quality joining our league. Our efforts into Arizona continue to grow, and with a brand name like Arizona State joining the UPSL, we are confident that we will continue to expand in this state and become a mainstay in the Arizona soccer community for years to come.”
